Almanac Cycling

Cycling clothes should look good.

Almanac is about things that are worth keeping. For cycling, that means looking past the endless new releases and finding the things that are actually well designed: good colours, good fit, minimal branding, and things I would still want to wear a few years from now.

Every Edit is a small number of complete looks. I care much more about how the jersey, bibs, socks and layers work together than which individual piece is newest or most technical. The season matters too. An autumn kit should still look good when you add a rain jacket. A summer kit should make sense when it is properly hot.

There are already plenty of places to follow every launch and compare technical details. That is not what Almanac is for. The products are all there if you want to find them. But really, every Edit should leave me thinking the same thing: this is something I want to wear.
